Joseph brings over 40 years of experience in the design, supervision, and management of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. He’s overseen the installation of plumbing systems, medical gas including bulk storage, laboratory gas, natural gas, jet fuel, mechanical systems, and fire protection systems for a wide range of new construction, major rehabilitation, and maintenance projects. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Polytechnic University of New York, a certificate with the MCAA Institute for Project Management, a NYC Master Plumber License, and a NYC Master Fire Suppression Contractor License – and is instrumental in driving the design, implementation, and orchestration of all plumbing and fire protection projects at Richards. His in-depth knowledge of the New York City Building Code ensures that a high quality of workmanship is consistently delivered across all projects, and that Richards meets and exceeds our customers’ expectations.

Across commercial, industrial, and transportation projects, Richard has nearly 40 years of experience in mechanical contracting, engineering consulting, and construction management. He is an expert in boiler plants, fire standpipes, fire protection, and plumbing systems including estimating, design, and project coordination for both design-bid-build and design-build projects. Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from the State University of NY Maritime College, is a Professional Engineer in New York, a NYC Licensed Master Plumber, a NYC Licensed Master Fire Suppression Piping Contractor, and a Licensed Construction Superintendent. Richard is also an AWS Certified Welding Inspector and US Coast Guard Licensed Third Assistant Engineer, Steam and Motor, Unlimited Horsepower. He drives our company vision, anticipates our customer needs, and steers Richards into the future by implementing and executing innovative design solutions.

Michael has held numerous key roles in his 40-year tenure with Richards. As the Logistics Officer, he focuses on the allocation of resources to efficiently execute a multitude of projects. His unparalleled knowledge of industry equipment and supplies is essential to the maintenance of shop specialty equipment, tools, and materials. Michael ensures jobs are properly resourced, executed, and staged through meticulous work with the field team and utilizes a wide range of experience to analyze and improve productivity in daily shop and field operations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College.

Over the span of more than 30 years, Tammy has honed her expertise in implementing rigorous financial controls tailored to the ever-evolving requirements of the construction industry. Her innovative system has not only facilitated the growth of Richards but also facilitated compliance with the myriad regulatory standards enforced by city agencies, local unions, and governmental bodies. In her role as Controller, Tammy has skillfully structured the finance department to adeptly manage the nuanced intricacies of construction accounting.

Angelo has over 40 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, and construction management. He’s provided oversight of large capital improvement programs and is an expert in project delivery methods including design-build, design-bid-build, and construction management at-risk. Angelo is dedicated to our clients and provides experienced client management, contract management, quality assurance, cost negotiation, conflict resolution, and financial and risk mitigation analyses. Angelo holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance and Economics from Hofstra University and a Master of Business Administration in Economics from Adelphi University and is certified as a Construction Manager (CCM) and a Design Build Professional. He holds safety training from Dupont and CEM Energy Management. Angelo also serves as a member of the New York Building Congress Energy and Sustainability Committee and previously served as the Director of Industry Affairs for the CMAA Metro board.

Frank brings over 40 years of experience in the heavy construction industry and is known throughout the industry for his expertise in pre-construction and construction processes. His extensive experience also includes estimating and oversight for a multitude of public works projects. He serves as a project executive across numerous sectors and specializes in structural design and analysis. Frank is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and a NYC Licensed Master Plumber. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil degree from Pratt Institute and a Master of Engineering degree in Civil/Structural from Columbia University.
